Eurocities Social Affairs Forum!

Beşiktaş Municipality attended EUROCITIES "Social Affairs Forum, which was held in Osmangazi this year.

Meeting subject was covering the adaptation of services by local municipalities to demographic changes in the city. 120 different representatives from 20 different countries were attended together with Besiktas Municipality.

European Union cities conduct lobbying with EUROCITIES organization. One of the thematic forum "Social Affairs Forum" organized every year by this organization and held this time in Bursa-Osmangazi.

Besiktas Municipality was participated to presentations and workshops on issues related development of their new "Wellfare Service". Forum is hosted by Osmangazi Municipality.

Under the topic "Adaptation of Municipal Operations to Changing Demographic Population", relevant activities implemented by member municipalities, troubles and solutions were discussed.

EUROCITIES organizes Culture, Social Affairs, Economy, Environment, Information Society and Mobility" forums several times per year and discuss current issues of the city, possible solutions, cooperation and joint projects tabled, development and results of the process.
