BEBEK PARK

Bebek Park is located in in the European part of the country, Istanbul- Beşiktaş. This district is one of the oldest and most prestigious district of Istanbul.

At first, the park was open for walks in 1908, but ten years later it was abandoned. Its overhaul took place in 2008. The work was with the famous Italian architect Ermanno Casasco. He again broke the track in more convenient places for walking, increased the area of 16 000 square meters and planted a beautiful ornamental plants, shading of ancient giants. Now the green zone occupies more than half of the park - 9000 square meters.

In the park there is a playground for the youngest visitors, recreation areas for adults with cafes and grounds for walking pets. The park is located along the waterfront of the Bosphorus, and it has breathtaking views with a free add on. It is worth visiting the fish restaurant, fit between the water and the park. It is said that these shrimp, crab and octopus you cannot try anywhere else in Turkey.

In the park there are many shops with all sorts of things souvenirs, useful things, fast food, and toys. There are several photographs, street artists who are happy is engraved you on the background of the strait, animators and clowns. Adults enjoy the greenery and quiet, and the kids have fun with exciting games.

Just a few steps from the park, there are attractions such as the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Bazaar, Galata Bridge and Galata Tower, old mosque and Taksim Square.
