Beşiktaş Launches Waste Collection Campaign via Recycle & Win Application…
Waste Vegetable Oils and Electrical and Electronic Equipment Collection Campaign start in Beşiktaş. Beşiktaş Municipality launches a new project in Beşiktaş via the Recycle & Win Application, which is implemented in the past few months. Waste vegetable oils and electrical and electronic equipment brought by our citizens to site managements and mukhtars will be recycled as part of the Waste Vegetable Oils and Electrical and Electronic Equipment Collection Campaign. The site managers and mukhtars will earn points via Recycle and Win application by delivering the waste collected separately to the municipality. The site administrators and mukhtars can use the points for various rewards.
Since December 15, municipal teams have been collecting waste vegetable oils and electrical and electronic equipment left by site residents at the site administrations and by residents and shopkeepers at the mukhtars. The site management and the mukhtars will gain points for Recycle & Win app accounts based on the quantity of waste delivered to the teams. The site management and the mukhtar, collecting 100 points, will win a cleaning kit with bleach, liquid surface cleaner, soft soap, and cream cleaner. Ten saplings will be donated on behalf of the site management, and the mukhtar received 150 points. A LOSEV Emergency Aid Box with tea, sugar, tomato paste, oil, bulghur, rice, pasta, flour, vermicelli, lentils, chickpeas, beans, bleach, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo, and toys will be provided to a family in need registered with LOSEV on behalf of the site management and the mukhtar earned 250 points. The site management and the mukhtar will receive certificates for the awards with a ceremony at the end of the month in which the award is won.
We invite all of our neighbors to use the Recycle and Win app, to sort their waste, and to demonstrate solidarity throughout the harsh winter months in order to recycle the waste created in Beşiktaş and to build a new bridge of solidarity among our residents.
About the Application
The Recycle & Win application provides our citizens living in Beşiktaş with the opportunity to separate waste at the source and easily make their requests for waste collection.
