Beşiktaş Municipality is holding 19 May Youth Festival to celebrate 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. During the 5-day long 19 May Youth Festival, the parks and squares of Beşiktaş will witness colourful concerts and activities.
15-17 May: Concerts at Cüneyt Arkın Artists Park
During the 5-day long 19 May Youth Festival, Barbarossa Square and Cüneyt Arkın Artists Park will be hosting concerts. Valuable artists such as Seda Erciyes, Sena Şener, GOSS band and Paptircem will be meeting the youth of Beşiktaş at Cüneyt Arkın Artists Park between 15 and 17 May.
The First Step March
On 16 May at 11:00, Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney and Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan will march from Dolmabahçe Palace to the First Step Monument in Karaköy.
18-19 May Events
On 18 May, the 4th day of the festival, Ozan Doğulu and Athena will be on stage for thousands of young people filling the Barbarossa Square. On 19 May, after the Beşiktaş Colour Run, starting from Ortaköy and ending at the Barbarossa Square, Hadise and Murda will carry the festival joy to its highest level. At the concert in the Barbarossa Square, first Murda and then Hadise will join the 19 May spirit of the youth.
