WE ARE CELEBRATING THE REPUBLIC DAY!

We are gathering in Beşiktaş to celebrate our Republic Day on Monday, October 29.

The Beşiktaş Municipality is organizing the traditional torchlight procession followed by a concert on the 95^th anniversary of the Turkish Republic Day.

The traditional Republic Day events of our Municipality once more take place in Beşiktaş with great joy with the participation of thousands of Istanbul residents.  As every year, the celebrations will start with the torchlight procession. Thousands of citizens will march from Balmumcu to Barbaros Boulevard carrying Turkish flags and torchlights and also singing anthems.  

After the torchlight ceremony, first Leman Sam and then Ege will take to the stage on the concert area in Barbaros Square. The celebrations will also feature modern dance shows. 

All Istanbul residents and foreigners are invited to this historical night.
