"Through The News" Project Carried Out In Spain's Malaga

     The training titled "Through the News", of which our Municipality is a project partner and performed under the KA1 Learning Mobility of Individuals Program of the Center for European Union Education and Youth Programmes, was carried out in the city of Malaga in Spain.

     The main theme of the Project was social media news and a total of 22 youth workers from Italy, England, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain and Turkey participated in the Project, which lasted for 8 days. As part of the Project, all the expenses were covered by the European Union.

     The event also featured a visit to the “Sur”, a local newspaper in Malaga, and the participants had the opportunity to create and publicize their own newspapers.

     “Thanks to this training, I had the opportunity to get to know a different culture and acquired the capability to reach information through various learning methods”, said Mr. Batuhan Türkoğlu, who participated in the Project in representation of the Beşiktaş Municipality.
