Project Writing Training Held at Karaoğlan Youth Centre

Project Writing Training Held at Karaoğlan Youth Centre

On 30 June and 1 July, the Project and Fund Management Unit of Beşiktaş Municipality, in cooperation with the Beşiktaş Youth Council, organised a two-day project writing training at Karaoğlan Youth Centre for young people interested in developing and implementing their own initiatives.

The training was delivered by the project coordinators of Beşiktaş Municipality’s Project and Fund Management Unit. During the first day, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of project development, including the concept of a project, the project cycle, and the key components of a successful proposal. The programme also provided an overview of youth-oriented funding opportunities, with a particular focus on initiatives that encourage youth participation and projects that can be implemented by informal groups of young people.

On the second day, the training continued with an interactive workshop where participants transformed their own ideas into project drafts under the guidance of the trainers. Through practical exercises and group discussions, young people had the opportunity to develop their project concepts while receiving feedback and support throughout the process.

Organised at Karaoğlan Youth Centre following the call of the Beşiktaş Youth Council, the training created an engaging and collaborative learning environment, equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence to take an active role in designing and implementing projects that address the needs of their communities.
