Pet Trade is Banned in Beşiktaş!

To protect our lovely friends we ban pet trade in Beşiktaş.

Our municipality continues to work for our lovely friends and implement new practices that protect them. With the proposal of the municipal council, the ban on the sale of pets in Beşiktaş was discussed and the first step was taken to illegalize pet trade within our district borders.

Speaking about the rearrangements about pet trade, which was happily welcomed by our citizens, Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat: " We promised that we would never leave our lovely friends alone while taking office. With this understanding, we ban the pet trade in Beşiktaş. We defend the right to life of every living thing and do what is necessary. Pet trade is unacceptable torture and we will put an end to this. Our approach is based on the understanding that Beşiktaş should embrace life, nature, and all living things. "
