Lifelong Learning Courses for the Season 2021-2022

In cooperation with the Beşiktaş Public Education Center, our Municipality organizes free-of-charge handicraft, vocational, technical, personal development and hobby courses for our citizens.
 
It is possible to improve yourself and acquire new professional skills thanks to the courses we provide in many different fields, including foreign languages, handicrafts, music and performing arts, personal development, education, information technologies and photography courses. Participants having completed their course programs successfully are awarded certificates approved by the Turkish Ministry of National Education.

Application Criteria

1- Applications can be performed online at www.besiktas.bel.tr or in person with your ID number at the Zübeyde Ana Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi or Dikilitaş Semt Evi. Please call 0212 325 73 71 / 0212 261 29 26 for details. People wishing to attend the course can only make registrations for themselves.
* Non-resident registrations will be performed at the Zübeyde Ana Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi or Dikilitaş Semt Evi.
2- Applications of Beşiktaş residents are prioritized.
3- The registration forms must be filled in precisely to enable communication. Fixed line phone numbers and mobile phone numbers must be provided in the registration form so that we can get in touch with you.
4- Each applicant can register for two courses at maximum.
5-  Applicants cannot register for two different foreign languages within the same term.
6- Provided that an applicant has participated in a certain branch twice before, he can never register for the same course again. Even though they have made a preliminary application for that course, they will not be allowed to register permanently, as the certificates you have received before will appear in the system of the Ministry of National Education.
7- The quota of the course will be determined according to the priority of the pre-registration date.
8- An informative SMS will be sent to the applicants 24 hours before the first class.
9- In order to be able to apply for the B1 English course, the applicant must have previously achieved A1 (Beginner) and A2 (Elementary) level certificates.
10- The Beşiktaş Municipality reserves the right to alternate the course program.

Note:
*** Pursuant to the order with the date 20.08.2021 and number 13441 of the General Directorate of Provincial Administration under the Ministry of Interior; in order to be able to participate in activities such as concerts, cinema and theater events, a PCR test with a negative result will be mandatory as of Monday, September 6, 2021 for those who have not been vaccinated. In this framework, operators & organizers will inquire the attendees over the HES code at the entrance regarding whether they have been vaccinated or whether they have had a negative PCR test performed maximum 48 hours before the event. If the person has not been vaccinated or fails to submit a negative PCR test, they will not be allowed to participate in the event. ***
