Our Folk Dance Team Has Won the Award for “The Best Traditional Group”

Participating in the Debrecen Flower Carnival, one of the greatest festivals in Hungary, the folk dance team of Beşiktaş Municipality’s Youth Folk Dance and Sports Club has won the award for “The Best Traditional Group” thanks to their splendid performance. 

Our folk dance team has had the chance to promote many folk dances from different regions in Turkey at the festival held between 15th and 21th of August which featured various cultural events, concerts and exhibitions. Beşiktaş Municipality’s dance team has been elected as “The Best Traditional Group” with their outstanding performance. István Puskás, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen has given a gift to the team for our Mayor Rıza Akpolat.
