Our Barrier-Free Art Ensemble Has Won 6 Medals

The Barrier-Free Art Ensemble of Beşiktaş Municipality returned to our country with a total of 6 medals (2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze) from the Para Dance European Championship held in Prague, the capital of Czechia.

Para Dance European Championship has been held between 28-30 October for the 5th time with the participation of 72 athletes, 42 women and 30 men from 15 countries. During the exciting championship, our national athletes has made us proud by winning a total of 6 medals, 2 of which are gold. Barış Bayraktar won 2 gold medals in men’s singles freestyle and men’s singles dance, Nezihe Koçak Ünal and Abdülkadir Ünal's duo won 3 silver medals in “Duo Freestyle, Duo Standard and Duo Latin” categories, and Abdülkadir Ünal has won a bronze medals in the men’s singles freestyle category.

Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat has congratulated the athletes with the following words: “I heartily congratulate our athletes Barış Bayraktar, Nezihe Koçak Ünal and Abdülkadir Ünal, and thank them for making us this proud.”
