Beşiktaş Municipality has held the International Stakeholder Meeting as part of the activities organized for the European Local Democracy Week (ELDW). Hosted by Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, the meeting has underlined the joint projects executed up until today, while also emphasizing the central location of Beşiktaş and the value of its deeply rooted international relations.
The Mayor Rıza Akpolat has stated in the meeting that they are working hard for Beşiktaş to gain a stronger position in areas such as culture, arts, sustainability, sharing economy and new collaborations. Akpolat has emphasized that when the stakeholder relationship is realized through strong global themes, it provides added value to each party, and this is directly related to the city’s economy and prosperity.
