In Beşiktaş, The Republic Shines!

29th October Republic Day will be celebrated with a great joy in Beşiktaş, the place where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades took the first step towards the War of Independence and set out to ignite the national struggle. The Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat also called on all our citizens with the following words “I invite everyone to stand up for the Republic of Türkiye in Beşiktaş and celebrate our holiday with a great enthusiasm.”

Beşiktaş Municipality is organizing a torchlight procession and a concert as part of the 99th anniversary of 29th October Republic Day. The celebrations, starting with an official ceremony, will continue with the announcement vehicles touring the streets and avenues of Beşiktaş during the daylight hours on 29th October. All our neighbours will share the joy of the holiday thanks to the national anthems played from the announcement vehicles.

Torchlight Procession from Şairler Sofası Park to the Barbarossa Square

The event will start at 19:30 with thousands of citizens gathered in front of Şairler Sofası Park. Carrying Turkish flags, Atatürk posters and torches in their hands, the citizens will be marching to Barbarossa Square, singing national anthems under the leadership of Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat.

Duman is at the Barbarossa Square on 29th October!

After the torchlight procession, the citizens will arrive at the Barbarossa Square for the Duman concert organized thanks to the contribution of Hepsiburada. Duman will excite the Republic Day spirit to its fullest at the Barbarossa Square with their beloved songs.
