ALI BEY FOUNTAIN

Alibey fountain is located in Abbasağa Neighborhood, Yenimahalle Fırın Street. This fountain is also called as "Cihannüma Fountain" and "Tetrahedral Fountain" and made of cut stone cube in the body. In the fountain, there are four lines engraved inscription belong to the date 1836 and located in three seperate panels. According to these inscriptions, founder of the fountain was a person named "Ali Bey". The fountain is located in a flood on the outer fringe. On mirror stones, framed inscriptions and oval medallion forms exists. In all aspects of reservoir, some inscriptions are available.
