4TH UNIVERSAL KIDS FILM FESTIVAL 2016!

The Beşiktaş Municipality is holding the 4^th Universal Kids Film Festival 2016 in cooperation with the Kids Film and Arts Association on November 26-30, 2016.

The 4^th Universal Kids Film Festival 2016 is in Beşiktaş!
The 4^th Universal Kids Film Festival 2016 will be held at the Akatlar Kültür Merkezi and the Ortaköy Kültür Merkezi on November 26-30.

The Beşiktaş Municipality became a partner of the Festival with a view to enable children become good cinema lovers fond of arts and grow up as more tolerant and peace loving individuals within the society.

Through its universal nature, the 4^th Universal Kids Film Festival 2016 offers kids to opportunity to get to know cultures and lifestyles of other countries and also highlights world peace. Kids and their parents are informed on children’s rights through the films screened during the Festival. The theme of the Festival is determined as ‘peace’. Films from all over the world are brought to kids and various events are also offered to them throughout the Festival.

The 4^th Universal Kids Film Festival 2016 includes many animated movies, short films and full-length films from various countries. Also directors from Iran, Bulgaria, Hungary, India, Israel and Philippines will be hosted at the Festival and watch their films together with the children. They will also be attending several conversations and sharing their experiences.

This year the Festival features a surprise. Young children from our neighboring country Bulgaria will be attending the Festival as well. They will get the opportunity to participate the animated movie workshops and pantomime workshops and work together with their fellow peers studying at the schools in the district of Beşiktaş.

All kids are welcome to attend the 4^th Universal Kids Film Festival 2016, which will be held on November 26-30.
