You are Invited to the Beşiktaş Festival!

Beşiktaş Municipality is organizing “The Beşiktaş Festival” starting on the 30th August that will continue for a month. On the 100th anniversary of Victory Day, the festival will start off with Kenan Doğulu concert and many artists will take the stage the 1st of October.

Apart from the concerts, The Beşiktaş Festival will also offer film screenings, yoga gatherings and children’s theater plays to all our citizens. We are fulfilling our promise to make Beşiktaş a city of festivals.

Starting with the concert of beloved pop artist Kenan Doğulu on the 30th August, when the national struggle made our country victorious 100 years ago, many artists will perform on the stage of Barbarossa Square and Cüneyt Arkın Sanatçılar Park as part of the festival.

On the 31th August Selda Bağcan, on the 1st September Goran Bregoviç will meet their fans at Beşiktaş Barbarossa Square. Between the 3rd and 11th September, a feast of folk music will take place in Cüneyt Arkın Sanatçılar Park. Barabar on 3rd September, Oğuz Aksaç on 4th September, Hüseyin Turan on 8thSeptember, Yekpare on 9th September, Erdal Erzincan on 11th September will come together with all the citizens in Beşiktaş. On 14th September, Kerem Görsev Quartet will be performing at Cüneyt Arkın Sanatçılar Park.

“Museum of the Moon’’ at Cüneyt Arkın Sanatçılar Park

British installation artists Luke Jerram’s “Museum of the Moon,” the moon model with a diameter of 7 meters created with the aid of the images taken from NASA reflecting the real surface of the moon approximately at a scale of 1:500.000 will be exhibited. As part of “Beşiktaş MoonFest,” five different valuable artists will be performing at Cüneyt Arkın Sanatçılar Park. On 16th September Bülent Ortaçgil, on 18th September Duygu Soylu, 19th September Tuluğ Tırpan Trio, on 20th September Nil Karaibrahimgil and on 21st September Jülide Özçelik will be performing to all festival participants.

İskender Paydaş on 23th September and Birsen Tezer on 30th September will perform their popular songs for all Beşiktaş residents at the same place.

The Hadise Concert on 1st October Will End the Festival

Starting on 30th August Victory Day, The Beşiktaş Festival is offering concerts, theater plays, movie screenings to all Istanbul and Beşiktaş citizens for a month. The festival will come to an end at the Barbarossa Square with the performance of one of the most beloved pop artists in Türkiye, Hadise and her famous songs on the last day of the festival.
