Beşiktaş Municipality’s Erasmus+ Project Writing Trainings

The Multiplier Events of Art Connection and Protect KA2 projects, funded by European Union as part of Erasmus+ Projects, has been finalised.

The Multiplier Events: Erasmus+ Project Writing Trainings, guided by the qualified trainer Bahadır Ülgen from the Turkish National Agency, attracted a large number of young people, as well as youth workers, representatives from local and international NGOs, staff from Erasmus Offices of the universities, as well as some teachers and consular representatives.

Acting manager of the Beşiktaş Municipality’s Foreign Affairs Directorate Dr. Gökhan Turan addressed the participants in his opening speech: “We wish this Multiplier Event bears fruitful results to all the people residing, studying or working in Beşiktaş; as Beşiktaş Municipality, we do our best to encourage them regardless of the field they operate at. The trainings will cover a wide range of subjects, ranging from the basic concepts of project management, the types of projects we can write, as well as how to stay updated on funding opportunities, to the professional techniques in project writing. I would like to underline that in addition to the projects you can write for an institution, the projects that you can apply and write individually will be discussed, and the possibilities you can realize in your own fields are unlimited. I hope all the participants here will get valuable information at the end of this training, and write many projects that will prosper our country.”

During the Multiplier Events held at Zübeyde Ana Cultural Centre on 1-2 March, the participants have received hands-on training regarding Erasmus+ Programs, Project Writing Processes (Preparation, Planning, and Application), and they were also informed about the logical framework approach and how to apply to Erasmus+ projects.

Also, within the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 projects carried out by the Project and Fund Management Unit of Beşiktaş Municipality’s Foreign Affairs Directorate, the Multiplier Event of Protect Project on 1 March; the introductory presentation and the Multiplier Event of Art Connection Project on 2 March, 2023 were organized by the Project Coordinators İpek Memik Ayman and F. Ekin Danacı. The presentation featured intellectual outputs of the KA2 projects in which Beşiktaş Municipality takes role as a project partner. Good practices, successful examples, and intellectual outputs such as web sites, YouTube channels, toolkits and handbooks were introduced to all the trainees. In addition, all participants were given a certificate of attendance at the end of the training.
