The 28th Istanbul Jazz Festival Celebrated in Beşiktaş!

As part of the 28th Istanbul Jazz Festival that took place in various venues in Istanbul, the Beşiktaş Municipality hosted the Istanbul Jazz Festival for the second time on September 19, 2021 at the Sanatçılar Park in Beşiktaş, where Ayşe Tütüncü Quartet, Fainschmitz and many young jazz artists took the stage. Harun İzer, the Director of the 28th Istanbul Jazz Festival, said, “We are at the Sanatçılar Park for the second time this year. Our cooperation with the Beşiktaş Municipality continues. Jazz is a sort of music very open to innovation, improvisation and new words, which also matches up with the music culture of Turkey.

Emphasizing how good art and music make everyone feel, the Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat said: “Just like last year, we have hosted the Istanbul Jazz Festival in the Sanatçılar Park this year, where our citizens embraced the green and music. We have held an enjoyable jazz festival with Ayşe Tütüncü Quartet, Fainschmitz and many young names of the jazz world”.
