The 2nd International Spring & Poetry Festival Ends!

The 2^nd International Spring & Poetry Festival, the first of which was also carried out by the Beşiktaş Municipality last year, was held between the dates April 30 – May 3 by the Beşiktaş Municipality with the participation of many poets from Turkey and 14 international distinguished poets from different countries has ended. Poetry enthusiasts enjoyed their fill of poetry readings as well as music concerts throughout the Festival, which was held publicly and entirely free-of-charge at the Abbasağa Park and the Şairler Sofası Park in Beşiktaş, the district of culture and arts. The Festival was attended not only by the residents of Beşiktaş but also the citizens of the whole Istanbul, who were offered the opportunity to enjoy poetry and music combined in the open air, accompanied by the beautiful weather of the spring.
